Photos from 2010

My little sister turned 50 early this year. Here are the pictures.

Then Renee turned 16. You can see some photos here.

During April we spent a couple of weeks down in Tasmania on holidays. You can see the pictures here.

On the first weekend of July, we went up to Orange to see Betty's sister & brother in law. It snowed on Mt Canobolas, (just outside of Orange), so we went up & had a look Sunday afternoon. The road to the top had been closed because of the snow, so we had to walk the last 2 kilometres to the top. You can see the pictures here.

Yesterday our son Jason married Heather Taylor in Wagga. You can see some photos here.

Last Sunday our church's Sunday School did their Christmas presentation in our morning church service. The photo's are here.

We spent Christmas with Betty's family in Orange. It wasn't very hot, so the air conditioner didn't get a work out. You can see the photos here.

To get the best from the photos ...

Please make sure that  your screen is calibrated so that you can see all the shades in the image below;

Screen calibration image

You must be able to see all this:
-- 20 sections of equal width and different tone
-- the darkest section must be pure black
-- the lightest section must be pure white
-- there must be no hint of color anywhere along the grey spectrum
If you don't see 20 different tones, you may need to lower the contrast.
If black is not pure black, you need to either darken the monitor or adjust the black point.
If white is not pure white, you need to either lighten the monitor or adjust the white point.
If both black and white are not pure, try to boost the overall contrast or adjust both, the black and white points. If there is a color cast, try and adjust the color balance. Some software allows you to do this separately for both ends of the grey spectrum
