A lot of people prefer to to rip CDs to an “Artist/Album” directory, so that all albums for a single artist are in a separate subdirectory. This results in a cleaner directory structure that's easier to navigate. Click here to see how to do it.

It is possible to install phpsysinfo, a system information tool which is handy for monitoring the operating temperatures, hard drive usage & memory usage of your VortexBox. Instructions on how to install it can be found here.

Sometimes the network settings on your VortexBox can get messed up or flakey, so you need to reset the network settings. To do this you'll need a keyboard & monitor to plug into your VortexBox. To see how to do it, click here.
